My accessory is not displayed in the list of available accessories in the “Add Accessories” screen

Only available accessories that have not been added to a network or home will show up in this list. Ensure the accessory you’re trying to add isn’t already added to your Home. If it is not, you may reset the accessory by pressing a paper clip in the “Reset button” hole. Press and hold the paper clip for about three seconds. The accessory will reboot and be available for connection in less than 30 seconds.

If the accessory was previously added to a Home, you will need to delete it from that Home in order to add it to a new Home. You may delete the accessory by swiping left on the accessory name shown in the accessory list view and tap delete. Once it is deleted, you may reset it, as instructed above, then add it to a new Home.
